About Us
Our names are Laura and Tanner Mendel and there is nothing we love more than spending time in the outdoors with our animals! We currently live in Mesa, Colorado, with our three dogs and two horses.
Laura is the owner and operator of Mesa Creek Pet Resort, LLC, and has a love and huge passion for animals. Laura graduated from Colorado State University in 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Equine Science. Laura has also worked with world renowned dog trainer, Cis Frankel, and has experience training dogs.
Laura and Tanner are huge animal lovers and want to provide The Plateau Valley with a safe space for their animals while their owners are away! They came up with the idea while looking for pet sitters to watch their dogs during ski season!

A Word From Our Guests
Laura has been our dog sitter for a few years now, and our dogs absolutely adore her. We are so excited that she has officially opened Mesa Creek Pet Resort. Our dogs had a fantastic stay this past weekend! We have a tracking collar on our Golden, and he got no less than 25k steps a day
. Our Border Collie mix and Cowboy Corgi are actually tired… which never happens
. She has great communication, a beautiful facility, and takes great care of our fur babies
